It’s been a little over a year since our popular online Segovia Sunday series ended, but the other day I ran across this cool video which had miraculously escaped my view when it was posted by our good friends at Guitar Salon International last summer. Here, Segovia plays his own arrangements of Vaghe Belezza and Bianco Fiore from Six Lute Pieces of the Renaissance on his famous 1969 José Ramirez guitar—the same instrument that Scott Tennant employs on his excellent new GuitarCoop album of pieces written by Segovia, titled The Segovia Sessions. —Blair Jackson
