A few years ago, in CG‘s “Keepers of the Flamenco” column, Jason Webster devoted an article to what is a relatively rare breed: female flamenco guitarists, or tocaoras, as they are sometimes called. One of the guitarists he mentioned was Israeli-born Noa Drezner, who had relocated to Jerez, Spain, and was widely admired for her skill and passion. Here’s a video from 2016 featuring Drezner and some musician friends really laying it down on a piece called L’último momento.
