Leo Brouwer’s 75th birthday celebration continues this month with Brouwer’s annual chamber music festival. Enjoying its sixth incarnation this year, the Festival de Leo Brouwer de Música de Cámara takes place from September 26 to October 12 in La Habana, Cuba. Nearly 300 musicians from 12 different countries will be on hand to toast Brouwer—including the legend himself, along with Berta Rojas, the Brasil Guitar Duo, Edin Karamazov, Jordi Savall, Bobby McFerrin, Yo-Yo Ma, and the Cuarteto Latinoamericano.
