Sunday Prodigy #6: Kevin Loh (10) Plays Scarlatti’s Sonata K322

I was fortunate to see Kevin Loh play a couple of years ago at the GFA convention—was it Denver in 2016? (hard to keep track). What a talented and self-assured young man! And I didn’t even know then that the Singapore native was already a wily veteran who had been playing for several years at that point. Check out a video of Loh from any year and you’ll probably be impressed. He’s 20 now, still winning competitions, traveling the world, and still getting better. We dipped all the way back to when he was just 10 for this one. I don’t know who his teacher was back then, but more recently he’s studied with Richard Wright at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School in the UK. Keep an eye out for this one!
