This week’s Video Pick is a an attractive Celtic-inspired piece written by noted American guitarist/harp guitarist and composer John Doan, who originally recorded it on his 1997 album Eire: Isle of the Saints. Its played here by a young Southern California guitarist named Olivia Chiang, whose guitar education includes a stint at the Royal School of Music in London and master classes with the likes of Christopher Parkening and the late Roland Dyens. Her lone album to date is called Sweet 16, released in 2016 when she was 16. No doubt we’ll be hearing more from/about her in the future! —Blair Jackson
