Judicaël Perroy is unquestionably one of France’s great modern virtuoso guitarists. I saw him play the French guitarist an entire program this past March at the San Francisco Conservatory for the Arts (where he teaches much of the year), and was astounded by his brilliant playing. Although he is adept at playing music from any era, he seems to have a extra-special touch when it comes to Baroque and Classical pieces. Watch him work on his this Fantasia by Italian composer Luigi Legnani (1790–1877).
