Classical Guitar Music to Play: ‘Menuet’ by Franz Schubert (arr. Tárrega)

Classical guitar music to play schubert menuet
Edited by Neil Smith

This work featured in many recitals by Segovia both in the programme and as an encore. The crossed left-hand fingerings preserve the note values as far as possible and occasionally permit prepared slides. Take care with the melodic line at points such as bar 11 (C – D); make a clear separation between these seconds and others occurring across strings.
