Try out this installment of the #viloteautechniquechallenge with classical guitarist and Peabody Conservatory faculty Thomas Viloteau!
“I call this one ’the hypothenar crusher!’ If you need to work on your fourth finger, this is the one! Go up and down the fretboard, and by the time you’re done with the exercise you should feel a nice burn in the hypothenar muscle (the one that controls most of the fourth finger movements). This is included in my Guitar Skills class at Peabody and I use it a lot to warm up my fingers before practicing.”
